Could a “Heterophobic” Job Fair Be in Columbus’s Future?

More than 2,000 people pre-registered for The Out to Work job fair in New York City last week, the city’s third job fair that originally started as a diversity outreach project for workplaces that are gay-, lesbian-, bisexual- and transgendered-friendly.

The exhibitors/employers were chosen primarily from the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index which identifies organizations that offer gay-friendly policies, like domestic partner benefits and affinity groups for GLBT employees.

Michael Daniels, a publisher at Outlook Media asked on his Facebook page “is it time for a GLBT job fair in Columbus?”  WTF thinks the answer is yes, but when is the “average white dude who digs chicks job fair”, or the “lazy person friendly” job fair!  Those are the ones I want to attend!

Here’s info about the NY event
